We have cut off the sides of the standard battery compartment to make room for a JP 250 mAh 6 or 7 cell battery. The cells are identically sized. We have had no problems in the weight departement, and only once in about 20 hours of flying has the battery left the compartment. The situation was saved by a tight connector and a sober pilot.
