A homemade pylon racer from a plan by Mike Payne. My first plane utilizing completely sheeted wings. Build number II will be glassed.
After 2 partly disastrous attemps to get this ship airborne, i finally made it fly with a plain old Günther prop. It flies almost like a sack of firewood, but i somehow managed to control it doing as little as possible apart from gentle turns. The two times i tried to roll it entered a death spiral and fell right out of the sky, like an ambolt. It managed to withstand the impact nearly unscratched, mostly because of my clever choise of flying site, a big marshland with lots of soft spots to crash into. I tried to loop it but it would not track truly so i managed to break off before it entered its third death roll. The causes for this misbehaving lies in the poor building quality, quick and dirty, not in the construction.
